About igolfer

igolfer is a publication for golfers, not simply a website about golf. It's for anyone who plays, follows, enjoys or has an interest in the game — occasional and social golfers through to regular, competitive and highly engaged ones. We don't define a golfer by ability, handicap, age, gender or level of commitment.

Golf means different things to different people: challenge and improvement, friendship and shared experience, recreation, time outdoors, travel, belonging, and — often enough — a good dose of humour about the shots that didn't go to plan. igolfer covers that whole experience, not just scores and equipment.

igolfer is part of the iHuman Group, a family of independent community publications — including imale, imwoman and isenior — that share a common content platform while each developing its own audience-appropriate character. Unlike those publications, igolfer is organised around a shared interest rather than a demographic — proof that the iHuman family can grow around communities as well as life stages.
